The Atlas now has a 3,000+ page content inventory
A route existing is not the same as a page being ready for search. This inventory separates finished indexable work, existing generated pages, and unfinished research assignments so page count cannot be confused with authority or approval to publish.
How the 3,174-page conservative count is calculated

The 491 curated sitemap pages overlap some existing country routes, so they are not added to the conservative 3,174 count. The actual unique public route inventory is therefore higher, not lower.

Promotion is earned page by page
Backlog pages stay outside the sitemap until their sources, answer, claim limitations, reviewer status, metadata, related links, and rendered originality pass. Publishing all 3,174 pages at once would turn a transparent research inventory into scaled-content risk.
